Easy run SDXL in A1111!

I have a Max M1 studio with 64GB RAM and it works quite well, in the end I managed to solve my problems by querying Bard who was very precise and detailed. Anyway, thanks for responding so quickly. You are very good. e sopratutto in bocca al lupo per il tuo canale. ciao D

SDXL doesn’t seem to work with existing Automatic1111 M1 mac installs. I reinstalled python, Automatic1111 and SDXL into a new folder. All works fine now.

Has anyone gotten SDXL running with 16gb of RAM? Every time I try loading it in A1111 it gives me an error saying I don't have enough memory

For Mac try with clean install of A1111. Extensions cause problems. I’m running on MBP M2 Max with 32 GB RAM and getting anything between 5.5 and 2.8 it/s. Also, not all samplers are supported (DDIM for example…)

El refinador funciona bien haciendo escalado y trabajando en modo de mosaico, de lo contrario no hace mucha diferencia. Se aseguraron de que, a largo plazo, el modelo base sea tan bueno que no requiera el refinador, y que eventualmente nadie lo use.

Hi Laura, I understand that on Windows it's super easy, unfortunately I have a Mac and you are famous for using Macs except in this case... you would be practically the only one on the net to do this tutorial on the Mac

Mac is not generally good for SD. SD requires NVIDIA GPU, which is not supported. Although you could run SD on mac with SD 1.5, with SDXL, which is heavier and requires more VRAM, Mac is not powerful enough. Need to go with ComfyUI, or with a pay option (Colab, Runpod, Diffusion Hub, Think Diffusion)

Try comfyui, seems to be quicker. Otherwise, external GPU (Colab/runpod)
