Thank you for the tutorial! I was hesitating because I never used silk before and I really like the idea of using french seams for it! One tip: When you flip the flap to the other side before sewing the side seams, those side seams wont be seen through the opening. :) It should look like this before sewing: _____ | ______________ |______________| intead of how you placed the flap: _____ |________________ ______________| (I hope the "sketches" help :D)

Probably ball point they come in packs of 3. The middle one is good but any would work. Bc they are round and pointy it will work on silk

Probably a microtex needle would work best on silks and satins.
