Loved the stitch so I looked at the video very very closely and this is the pattern I came up with. Cast on in multiples of 4 plus 3 plus 2. I cast on 20 sts plus 5=25sts. This is a two row repeat. Row 1: Slip first st purl wise with yarn in back,; K1, *SL1wyf, K3*, repeat from * to * until last 3 sts, then SL1wyf, K1, P1 (always purl the last stitch). Row 2: SL1wyB (purlwise), K3, *SL1wyf, K3*, repeat from * to * until last stitch, P1 (always purl last stitch). At the end of each row you should have the same st count as you cast on, I have 25 sts at the end of each row. This is working for me so far, and it is a very pretty stitch. Good luck, and happy knitting!

Hi, thank you so much for sharing such an easy and pretty stitch pattern. I just made a swatch for my new scarf using super fine DK merino yarn in 4mm needles and it looks fantastic. It’s easy enough to remember to make a long scarf and it goes pretty quick too. I just got this super fine merino yarn I was looking for a new pattern. I probably need to pair it with a mohair as it’s so thin and delicately soft lol 😅 But I love the pattern. Do you have a Ravelry page? Would love to see what others have created using this pattern and would love to share mine after I’ve knit a scarf in this pattern too. 😊 Thanks and I just subscribed to your channel! :)

I’m knitting a jacket for a friend using her very thick homespun yarn that she spun for the first time. After looking a lot for a good stick for this special but thick yarn, I came across your pattern stitch. It will work very well for this coat. Thanks

Would love to really devote my time to knitting and crochet. I just have to many distractions throughout the day. I have made a few things in the last month but will probably pick back up in the fall/winter.

I used this one since I was maybe 12. The name may be - fishermen rib? or brioche stitch. They look similar.

I watched you video about 3 times before I understanding your concept of Multiples4+3+2. Do you think you can write the pattern in the description box. Do you have a name for the stitch? I just started a scarf plus using the Fibonacci sequence to make a two tone scarf. Thank you.❤🌹

Hi Katerina, thanks for the tutorial. Would you be able to suggest how much yarn I would need to knit a scarf twice as wide and quite long (that is an "oversized" scarf)? Also, what is the thickness/number of the yarn and the needles you are using? Cheers.
@KaterinaKnitting6 жыл бұрын
Hi. I used : Premier® Serenity Chunky™ Solid and Multis Yarn. US 11 (8mm) needles. (depend on your tension) It will Take a lot :) of yarn. I think mine took about 7 - 8

You confused me. In the first row, you took one stitch off and then knitted one and then started the pattern. But in the next row, you took one stitch off and knitted three, (in other words started the pattern right away). So do you alternate that pattern?
