Our build was a little more built-out, but similar idea of barebones and inexpensive. After a couple of trips, PA and CO in the fall, the one item we wished for was insulated walls and ceiling. Even though the temps were mild in the day and over night, for instance it was sunny and 75 but inside the van it was 90 even with a few windows open. Then, we would get really cold overnight as the temps were in the 50s. Extra hydration and extra blankets solved most of our challenges, but we'd be a lot happier with some insulation - which we're tackling over the next couple of weeks.

Nice job, Sam! Did you build that platform for the cot to sit on to overcome the challenge with the wheel well?
