Unless you upgrade to a 25 amp hour battery, it is best not to mess with power output. Also, putting in a higher watt speed controller will just make the wiring and motor run hotter and it simply was not designed with thick enough wires or proper cooling to handle a larger speed controller. I already tried this stuff with ebike kits and melted wires together. I did manage to upgrade the wires though, but then I noticed motor hub getting hot enough to cook an egg.

I am afraid I don't understand. I have not added any other speed controller, it is the original, there's only a mild software change. And because you have tried it on a bike makes no sense as long as this is a speed limitation for different regions, available for electric scooters. Electric scooters are not the same with electric bikes. I think you got the information mixed, this is not meant for any electric bikes, nor did i mention it will work in 100% of the cases. In my case, for my electric scooter, it has worked. ;)

True.. I override the speed until 30kph but then I notice that the motor gets hot than usual.. I used mine until second year but on 3rd year I got error 54. When I opened the wires are melted..

It's a hack if you have an EU version... The USA model is 18 mph already out the box.

My daughter has a Segway Ninebot F35 from Costco and it's about 5 mph slower than my scooter, so it's a pain to ride together as I always have to back off my throttle. Does anyone know how to modify the F35 software. The proprietary software is the worst part of that thing.
