The registration process begins with overseas recognition from your home country or any country of your residence. You will have to come into Ireland for the exams or adaptation to complete the registration process.

Yes. Your study will be considered a gap in working experience but years of work will still count

Yes, Commission for Oaths is one of the accepted certifying authorities. However, from experience, most applicants use Notary Public.

I got my RN from a school of nursing before getting a degree in the university where i did my RM and RPHN. Do i need a transcript from the University. I already know that of RN is compulsory. Can I allow the schools to send them directly including the qualification forms?

After securing a job, you will be required to apply for an Atypical Working Scheme visa (ATWS). ATWS is like a temporary work permit, once you have that checked, you can apply for entry visa.

Please I heard that midwives only do 6-12weeks adaptation they don't write the RSCI, how true is this and how much?

Yes. For now, Adaptation is the only means of registration for Midwives in Ireland. Adaptation costs 1000 Euros. It's usually paid for by the Agency or Employer. Only an agency called KCR does not pay upfront but reimburses you after coming in to Ireland.

Yes, you are required to scan all the pages before uploading. It’s also possible for your school to send the documents directly to the NMBI ([e-mail]) via their official email. That saves you the cost of scanning and uploading.

The NMBI recommends having your English Test score before starting the process. However, it will not be required until the final point of registration in Ireland. Based on the fact that English Test only comes in usually after DL, some applicants take the risk of starting the process without the required English Test score. It has worked for some while others have not been that lucky.

You do not have to submit all the transcripts you mentioned. If RN is your primary (first) qualification, you can limit your documents submission to RN. However, if you want to pursue Midwifery registration in the same process, then you will need to add your Midwifery documents.

UK to Ireland migration for non-EU citizens resident in the UK is same as for those coming from Africa. In addition to verification from the Nursing board of your home country, you will need to submit NMC verification and employment form from your employer in the UK. For fresh graduates, there is a page on the NMBI Portal where you will find "Tick the box if you do not have professional experience". When you tick that box, it automatically removes employment form from the list of documents you are to submit. Then, you are good to go. Thanks for your comment. If you want to register for both divisions of Nursing and Midwifery with the NMBI, you can apply for Midwifery CCPS to be sent to the NMBI. If you only want to register as a General Nurse, then you can leave out Midwifery transcripts from your documents submission.

If I understand you, you have more than one draft on your NMBI page. It's not an issue, when your documents are ready and you are ready to pay, use the latest of your drafts, upload all the necessary documents and pay.
