About 3-4 years ago I used to watch your channel, but as I got older, more busy, and sadly less creative I stopped watching a lot of KZbin… which I’m not the proudest of. BUT I just remembered your channel, and how happy it made me. I was panicking trying to find your account, I was terrified that you had stopped posting but I was beyond relieved that you still post. I am so thankful for you, you honestly helped me grow into the creative person I am. Although, I have pushed my artwork aside…. I still acknowledge the need for art. I am proud of how your art work has changed and that you still create. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you for helping my younger self discover the need for artwork and creativity. AND thank you for still inspiring me to create!

So inspiring after a day of artistic rock walls, this has let me breath and take a step back. It reminded me that the joy of colour and paint is sheer it begins. Thank you so much

Thank you Liz :) I keep hearing the encouragement in different place to try simplifying with art and projects we do and there’s a nugget in there I want to explore more. I think it can connect you back with the joy

Thank you Robin! A lovely example of sunflowers made with ease and with casual abstraction! I enjoy watching your videos your such an amazing teacher and a joy to learn from. Yes, even after years of painting, I believe that we all can learn or be refreshed or reminded of the techniques we have once learned and have forgotten or set aside because we think we are “past that” particular lesson. I see artists who have an attitude of I know that, I don’t need to learn how to do this from you! There is always a lesson in watching an accomplished artist work. Thank you for continuing to teach and share your knowledge and joy in painting and joy in life!

I think one of the hardest things when doing a painting is knowing when to stop. The saying "the devil is in the details" can relate to how we can overthink and try to put too much detail into a painting.

Are you using a “Tish” brush from Rosemary? If so, how do you like it?
@RobinSealark3 жыл бұрын
I believe I was using a Tish! I like them. The long handles are nice and I like the angle of the brush head for precision and coverage.
