I like that you put in the English first. When it's Spanish comes first I have no context and by the time the English is said I forget the exact pronunciation. I'm more focused when the English comes on because I'm trying to guess the answer

As a passive drill, I play it at double speed so as not to doze off or zone out. But when I hear something unfamiliar, I return to my screen to rewind and replay at normal speed, and actively practice. Now I wish I could say that whole statement en español.

Good question! That had me puzzled for a bit. You would think one means “you remember” and the other means “you agree,” right? But both “te recuerdas” and “te acuerdas” mean “you remember.” “Estás de acuerdo” means “you agree.”

This was fine for learning pronuciation but when there are 4 Spanish words and then only 3 English one or the other way around you are only learning pronunuication. I want a direct translation. I am smart enough to translate bad English gammer. OH, and everyone does this and it is very confusing. I would love to find book that wrote Spanish using English words so I can match the words up and learn the grammer
