my wheels dont rotate in the center, the are facing the right way but they rotate around the outside of the wheel collider instead of with it, the center point of my wheel model is on the edge of the wheel collider.

Hey, so umm weird problem. When I import the wheels they are rotated the wrong way. So its like the side of the wheel is the front. Ive rotated it in Blender and it still comes out the same. Any ideas?

The Last Dreadnought I haven't watched the video yet, but I assume the wheel is controlled in the code, so you probably made a little mistake in the script

hmmm, I would think if they're facing forward in blender that would fix it, I would lean towards a blender export setting for the world direction or something, but I'm not a 3D artist and don't know how to use blender

Yes there is an export setting within blender which allows you to change the xyz coordinate system. Unity uses Y up, Blender is Z up

Im using just 3d object from within Unity to prototype a car controller. When I play the wheels are oriented so he hub caps are on the ground and cannot roll. WTF am I doing wrong and how can I fix this? I've tried a bunch of different rotations on the mesh/prefab/wheel Colliders, nothing seems to work.

JavaScript is just as good as C#. If you don't know how to program a simple FPS, then you should probably focus on a simpler code style. The only benefit of C# for most programmers is code hinting in VS. Anything that can be done in C# can be done in JS. C# isn't faster as they're both mono.

How do you make the rear wheels on the car brake rather than apply reverse torque? The reverse torque makes stopping the car to a halt difficult because the car's rear wheels are already spinning at full speed when you stop. Maybe make the car take a half second or one second pause before it begins applying reverse torque? Thanks in advance.

To Brake the car more fast just add Drag on RigidBody of the carRoot. I aplied 0.1 and now its good to brake

Please do a Tutorial on "Movement of a Cube on a Slope." @@AaronHibberd it is right there on the top of the page: manual / scripting API If you click manual, you will get the manual and if you click scripting API you get the scripting API. But, I just say that the documentation for it is very poor and the numbers they use in the documentation don't apply anymore. I would increase the stiffness to get more grip and decrease it for less, the current default values are also backwards... at least if I have to believe the documentation...

Just starting using the code provided for the suspension system and it's working better but I'm still running into a vibration issue. Do you have any suggestions as to how to resolve the shaking the cars do when driving? I'm using all base parameters on the wheel colliders along with the base parameters on the suspension code from this video. My vehicle is 1000kg mass.

Your crap sample of the wheel collider would work if you just add a box collider to the cube.
