PILLOW PAINT - PPG Multi-Pro Interior Eggshell White (47-3110)
POUR MEDIUM - 65 grams BEHR 3300 + 35 grams Polyurethane Triple Thick Water Based Semi-Gloss
*Tube Paints - add a small amount of paint to PM until you get desired color. To thin use JoSonja Gloss Varnish mixed with water (3:1 ratio).
*Pigments - disperse in JoSonja Gloss Varnish then add small amounts of PM at a time and mix. Use BEHR 3300 to thicken, if needed

I first noticed it when I was using a comb to go through the colors. One side of the comb wasn’t pushed down all the way and the colors didn’t drag as far.

I can't tell you how much I LOVE this! Your swirls are so natural-looking, like they intersect at the exact point nature would have intended. I love the colours, the negative space, and the colours you used. And your puppy: What is his name, and what kind of puppy is he? (I call all dogs "puppies", no matter their age or size.)

This really means a lot and I appreciate you taking the time to write it. My pups name is Joey and we just got him 3 months ago. He’s around 3yrs old and was a rescue that my mom’s friend was having a hard time with. He’s the best little guy and every time I start spinning he comes to dance with me and check out the painting. 😂 He just sits patiently for the painting part but comes running for the spin. 😂

Beautiful! can you explain the need for the black on top of the white?

For the bloom recipe you want your base to be the thickest part so since I don’t have a black pillow I put black paint on the of the pillow so we still get the nice cell formations that will hold up while getting a different colored background. I think if you mixed the black paint up thick enough you could skip the white pillow, but that would take a lot of tube paint to get it thick enough.
