Crispy Fried Whole Fish Recipe:
2 whole fish carefully trimmed and cleaned.
Green Jalapeño.
Tomato.
Sweet pepper.
1/2 lemon.
Mixed herbs / seasoning.
Salt.
Ground peppercorn or coarse ground black pepper.
1 yellow onion.
Mamie Renée’s green seasoning.
Carrot.
Cabbage.
Oil //
Pat the fish dry .
Make incisions in them.
Sprinkle with mixed herbs/ seasoning.
Spread Mamie Renée’s green seasoning on and inside the fish.
Heat the oil.
Gently place the fish in the hot oil.
Let cook on both sides, turning gently from time to time.
Garnish with the sliced jalapeño pepper .
Serve with plantains, a tomato , cabbage and grated carrot salad or any side of your choice .
