@5:55 Basic battery protection still charges to 100%. But lets it drop to 95% before charging again (as opposed to constantly keeping it at 100%, which is bad for battery life). So, if you plug it in overnight, for example, it'll be somewhere between 100% and 95% when you unplug it in the morning.

I have battery protection on basic mode s24. After charging up to 100%, the battery very quickly drops to 99% in 2 minutes. Is that ok?

When I leave mine plugged in, it stays on 100% but as soon as I unplug, mine also drops to 99.

Turn off and sleep all the bloatware. That will resuce standby consumption to less than 1%@@Browns82

Same looses 1% right away. Put mine on light mode with adaptive refresh rate and makes it to the end of the day with 30% to 40%. If its on standard mode maybe 10 to 15%. I only put it on standard mode on heavy use like teansferring files or extracting or unzipping files and downloading at the same time.

Good phone. Downside, you can't put your micro SD chips anymore. So you're stuck with whatever they gave you, and that's it. Hhhhhh. Why did Samsung do this?😢😢

They stopped having expandable storage after the s20 Having 256GB is more than enough for most people But it does suck that they stopped including that

Yeah it sucks...Had a perfectly good s10+,dropped it twice within 20 min..Broke the screen and buggered up something inside so that it wouldnt lite up the screen or connect...So now i just got this new s24..So far its just pissen me off with set up bs...

I use long press on powerbutton to start flashlight, and long press again to turn off.

S24 only has 1080p option but the S24+ and Ultra can change from 720p, 1080p, and 1440p. Idk why the S24 doesn't have a 720p mode since the rest has it.

I have a question about IP68, will it still be waterproof if I use it and click the buttons on the phone? Is it better not to do this and not use the buttons at all? water won't get through the buttons?

The basic is only 1080p, so there are no other options. The plus and ultra have 4k so you can change it.

You've said at 3:54 that you're switching to S24 from Pixel. Could you tell me whether the conventional "3-button Navigation" of S24 can be changed to "Gesture Navigation" similar to a Pixel phone? Also, can the App Drawer of S24 be changed into the way it appears in a Pixel phone?

yes you can do 3 button. I just switched to the pixel 9 and i sort of miss how you can customize things more on samsung vs pixel but the cameras are tough to beat on pixel phones

Whats hidden about this? Hidden means you have to do smth special to get there. Enter a code, maybe the easter egg and developer options are kinda hidden etc. But this bro, aint nothing hidden about these mundane features...nice informative video doe

I have had my S24 for a week and half, the do not disturb is disturbing. It does not make a lot of sense to me and now, I have a sleep alarm on my alarm app. It has me going to bed at 8:00pm. I don't have any idea why it just showed up there? I hope it is a part of there fix Thursday the 22nd. If not I will be back to the store where a bought it from on Friday.

Its a feature that let's you have an alarm if you're one of those people who like to have a fixed sleep schedule. You can turn it off if you don't want it
