At the beginning, when you start with the slip knot, you give the loop a twist before starting the first chain. Why do you do that? Does it give extra strength to that first chain?

Hi,stonytina01 will-not-be-banned This is my way of making the first knot .. you do not have to do it exactly the same,(there are more ways to start) .... it does not count like chain /yes, is done in the beginning, to strengthen ..💕
