In this video, I am hoping to encourage new fiddle players to see how with a few simple steps they may take their fiddle playing up a peg or two. No notation required as this is a watch and follow along
video. Let me know what you think in the comments and I will make more like this.

New fiddler here, and getting a late start age wise. This is a really excellent teaching video and I especially appreciate the patient repetition so vital for beginners. Very nicely done. I have appreciated many of your videos and recently found my teenage daughters listing to one of your playlists and greatly enjoying it! Thank you so much for your generous contribution.

I can sort of hear a bit of a Cajun shuffle in here, with a washboard and a triangle. Great tune.

Mr. P, another catchy tune. I just heard a tune as a background piece on 8/8/ 22 on a KZbin program I was watching. I wrote out the tabs to learn it. I didn't get the name so I call it "Horsefly in the Butter Churn"... Now isn't this how some of these old timey tunes get good names ? I may never learn the real name of this gem, but this title works if I can teach it to others. Peace and many cheers, my friend. Bob

Do you need a different bridge to play fiddle music? Been trying to play brian borus March but can't seem to get the tune right.

I used to use a flatter bridge many years ago, but for the last 15/20 or so years I use a normal classical bridge. I guess it's something that you just get used to
