Would anyone like to tell me what "Col." means? I have no clue...

basically if it shows that it means like copy the part indicated so like. if it shows a part in 2:06, it means that all the trombones play what the first trombone player plays. Col. 1 the 1 referring to the part that it copys. now on the actual part it wouldnt look like that, its just to make the score easier to read.

This is a really nice arrangement of a classic Cole Porter piece. It's a straight ahead arrangement without solos and high note trumpet which, unless you have high note trumpet players, sounds absolutely horrible. Are trumpet players unable to hear when their intonation is way off? It totally ruins the piece and it's humiliating to play it in public.

they aren't high notes and if the trumpets consider them to be high notes, it is understandable that their intonation is off.

What are you talking about? Trumpet high notes almost always sound perfectly fine unless it's middle school or high school bud
