Nobody tells why do you need 3 bins actually, and how to use them. In which order to move compost from bin to bin.

I purchased 3 - 3'x3' metal cages from a cloth factory. If I line the bins with a professional landscape fabric would it make a good 3 bin system? Does the soil in the bin need to be in contact with the ground? Thanks for any feedback you can give.

It does not need to be, but it encourages worms to come in.

So growing up digging worms to fish with.....i always assumed nighcrawlers were large worms.....by you calling them different names red worms and european night crawler.....are they different?
