Excellent Tut man. Allot of the other Tuts didn't show how to easily remove the hand data to fix the tracking. Much appreciated!

Hands down the best and easiest to follow tutorial on this. Trust me, I went through many to get to yours. Thank you. Now if only we could get the makers of these phone screens to use grey, and not dark black, or even weird colors. Oy vey.

Hey! Great tutorial, only thing is that I have an issue with the screen color... on my video, the screen is full white instead of green. When I select this color for the "Screen Color" label, nothing happens... any solution? Thanks!

Hey Man! What about an object that is out of frame but then comes into frame? I have footage of a computer with a green screen on the computer screen that is out of frame but then comes into frame. I'm a bit confused how that would work

Hey, im new to mocha.. i had done a screen replacement but was told to keep the pre comp above the main footage.. i wanted to put the screen inside the phone so i did your keylight method.. but as i have to put the precomp below the main footage i lose the replacement screen… any help? Thanks

dude! AWESOME content! Really I'm like 15hours trying to do this work, and got it here! The best explanation so far. Congrats! One thing I learned in another video, for the phone content not to be stretched out, you can go to the "phone content" select the element you want and hit Transform -> fit to comp. It will be stretched out in the phone comp, however it will look great in the main comp! :) On thing I could not solve: I'm having trouble getting rid of the marks in my footage, as they're all full black 💩 any tips? ;)
@Hippoh2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words mate! Glad It helped you out :) and thanks for the extra tip too! will try it out. The marks in your footage - are they on the green screen? or are they black marks from the lens/sensor of your camera?
@Weirtoe2 жыл бұрын
@@Hippoh I'll jump in and answer (correctly hopefully) my tracker marks are full black, not opaque like yours are Hippo. So when we are in the keylight/screen matte and clipping the black, it's not capturing because the contrast is so sharp of the green screen vs fully black markers. Does that make sense? I'm going to try and invert a mask. Thanks for this amazingly straightforward and easy to understand tutorial. and you will love that fit to comp trick, it's brilliant
@Hippoh2 жыл бұрын
@@Weirtoe Hey Kerrie! Ok yes - so what you want to do is individually mask away each of those black markers. This might take a bit of time depending on your shot and the movement involved, but keyframing some masks or even using the rotoscoping option in Boris FX Mocha could work as well. That might be a bit tricky, but let me know if that helps! I do cover a bit about rotoscoping using Boris FX Mocha in this tutorial as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5_PgnaZr9uSbqs

Why didn't you just did your phone comp in the right ratio firsthand? If you had a 9:16 comp, you have way less weird scaling issues.... And faster results Just saying
@Hippoh2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Have you tested that? That doesn't seem to work for me. The corner pin you import from Mocha is based on the original footage which is 16x9. So if I create a 9x16 solid, the imported corner pin data from Mocha screws with the position and placement of it. Let me know if it works for you? I found the same method as mine here on an official Mocha tutorial if it interests you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIrbf2SdbtWdhck (from about 12mins)
