Agreed, I’ve been playing for about 25 years and FINALLY some of this theory stuff is making sense. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I’ve always been a solid rhythm player of other people’s songs, but I’ve made it my renewed goal to become proficient at soloing, so I’m learning the ins and outs of the major scale and watching lots of theory. Brother, you make more sense than anybody I’ve seen. Thank you again. Now, I’ve just got to figure out how to adjust when those dang chords change during my solo! 😝🤣

absolutely amazing way too learn and visualize the fretboard. I knew the 1 4 5, but really didn't know how to use it other than power chords or open chords, so a really eye opener for me. I was the same way trying too get all the info I could about playing and learning guitar, going 10 different directions and have a bunch of stuff in my head that I can't apply too the fretboard, but after reviewing this a few times and putting it on a chart so it can soak in, I get it now, so my barre chords need a lot of practice and can put them too use. I have been playing about 5 yrs. started playing at 54 yrs. old, I took some private lessons at first and I had some of your stuff from your beginners course and showed it too my instructor and he wanted more, that says a lot about your teachings. Thank you

Ok I have a major man-guitar-crush on this dude! First after 30 years of fu@king up scales, he taught me how to master them on a Saturday afternoon. I was blown away with this man's teaching concept. SO EASY and now after all the years of practicing, I am FINALLY PLAYING THANKS TO THIS DUDE! I am becoming a shred demon. Now I have watched this video 5 times and have improved my chord change and improv by LEAPS and BOUNDS. I actually impressed myself (which has never happened in guitar) jamming on some chord riffs! +Guitarzoom.com Steve, your free lessons here on KZbin are an absolute godsend. Like most guitarists, money is always tight with me. But I will say this: Thanks to the amazing free lessons you've generously provided to students all over the world, I WILL be spending some of my hard-won cash on your online lessons. You're just an amazing teacher, and you have a gift for taking difficult theory concepts and breaking them down in a way that's really easy for me to understand. Your Absolute Fretboard Mastery series on KZbin changed my life, and if I had you back when I first started... I can only imagine where I'd be right now. So THANK YOU for being so generous with the free, amazing lessons. You've earned yourself a loyal student.

As a jazz guitar player that has learned chord forms to match a key, rhythm, etc... this is so outstanding. Memorizing chord forms, and arpeggiating from them this one thing. Knowing where and why tones go is another. Hombre breaks all of this trial and error down into understandable bits and pieces. Soo good. Soo informative. I don’t care if you can name every note on a guitar neck, Stine breaks it down into bite sized chunks😊
