The Easy Update band is SO GOOD! I hope I can be there in person next year. I just had such a huge smile on my face for this whole set! Thanks Ian.

I subscribed to Easy Allies just because I was a fan of Brandon Jones' voice from various Gametrailers videos but now I'm really glad to have subscribed.

This version of Wanderer is like one of my new favorite songs. Want them to get together and do a studio recording of it

This was a killer set! Ian was amazing as always, so I definitely want to make sure to call out Noah, Ian W, Kris, and Andrew for their performances. You all nailed it and it was a pleasure to hear you perform. Thank you all.

If it hadn't been for the Box Peek preview, this might have been my highlight of the show. Great work Ian (and Noah!) (Also I never realised the line was "you salty haters and your twists of lime". Did you intend that to be a kind of rhyming slang (eg. "twisted lies" = "twists of lime")? Either way it's a damn smart line, and one of those ear worms that's been stuck in my head since I first heard it)

I love coming back to this every once in a while. Those voices
This was haunting and beautiful to witness live. You all crushed it. Props to Noah for the collaboration. My hands were shaking meeting Kyle, I can't imagine the amount of nervous perspiration I'd secrete getting up on that stage. Listening to the Lolumes at the office all day but this is something else :-)

I'm now obsessed with One Hundred Weeks. I really enjoyed this live version since its very Death Cab-ish and I completely relate to the lyrics. Are you planning on releasing it on Spotify or other places individually? Please do us a solid, Ian! Thanks bud

That's one of the songs I personally think sounds better in the recorded version. I just love the synth ambience going on there. Also, I did not like the notes the guitar was playing live, it kinda didn't fit.
@vdlex32816 жыл бұрын
Cool, thats like.... your opinion man. I personally think this ver is better. Whichever the case, we both agree its a fantastic song and hope Ian gets praise and money for his efforts.

Everyone was on fire and both Ian and Noah sounded great. However, as a big fan of the recorded versions, I still wish Ian would perform those songs the way they were written, with synths and piano. I really hope he does that next year. I would love to hear it that way live just once. ;) And real drums are fine, but the guitar changes the songs so much. Sometimes it works (Wanderer) and sometimes it doesn't, at least for me.

Ian Hinck is a gift for games media. He's such an oddball, a very talented singer and songwriter and has a very specific taste. I still miss Mandatory Update Nights, the solo stint near the end of GT was the most bizarre and fun ride ever.
