Easy Vietnamese 5 - Sports

vietnamese sounds really alien to untrained ears. The only slight advantage to learners might be the fact that it is now written using Roman alphabet. i couldn't catch any similarities with Japanese or even Mandarin

its not similar to Mandarin. It's closer to Cantonese. Japanese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese are completely different languages. The only similarities they have is that both Vietnamese and Japanese have more than 60% of Chinese loanwords.

I have a lot of Japanese learning Vietnamese ( 3 ) and they speak Vietnamese so good.
