Beautiful! I do have a Molotow masking liquid marker. However I have left is sitting around, and can't get a solid line. I will try using the Pebeo drawing gum with a brush. I have also heard to put liquid dish soap on the brush you intend to use, and it will wash out the masking liquid. Who doesn't love snowflakes!?

Hi Ellen! I loved your snowflakes 😃 I recently bought a ‘Looneng Ruling Pen’ from Amazon for making fine lines with masking fluid ~ it’s stainless steel, adjustable, cleans fantastically easy. It’s under $10! No more ruined brushes for me 😉 Just a little practice gives pro results!! Can’t wait to try this cute card idea!! Thanks!!

I came across your channel and Patreon a couple of weeks ago and was so thrilled to find a watercolor artist that I could actually follow and understand. Finally! I have about a million questions I could ask after attempting at least a dozen of your wonderful tutorials, but I’ll stick with my major trouble spot, wet on wet. Do you have any tips and tricks for conquering wet on wet, specifically, the bloom and bleed technique that you often feature in some of your videos? I am using almost all the same materials, the Arches cold press paper, Princeton Velvetouch brushes and Holbein paint. I just always seem to end up with a blobby mess whenever I try a painting that features wet on wet. Maybe I’m using too much water? Thanks so much for the terrific content, both here and on Patreon. Can’t wait for your next video!

Ellen. Love this. On the masked snowflakes, do the pencil sketches come off?

I struggle with this kind of painting but I am going to give it a go! On the second one, could you sprinkle sea salt on it to add more texture? Thank you for sharing!

Stupid Question. How do you get the snow flake image on the paper? I can't draw! thanks
