I'm an elecrrian and build my own houses n rehabbed. Honestly if you learn how to measure, cut, incest in tools and using a drill and nail gun anyone can learn. Buy a couple big pieces of wood and play around you will lean also there so many great vids like this start at basics

The only criticism I have is the shelf supports are glued making it impossible to change height later on without ruining the drywall. I get why it was done this way but I think a closet insert allowing for adjustments would have been a better solution. Otherwise, nice job and I learned about a new tool I haven’t used before. 👍🏻 Amazing that bedrooms were once built without closets.

Great work I’ve installed closets just like this in one day. I would recommend putting your door frame together first and use 45 minute compound for 1st coat, sponge dry then regular compound then sand

Getting the latch to line up with the striker can be even easier. Just chalk up the latch and when you close the door you know exactly where it lands. I tend to leave this after I install the door stops.
