Easy way to create male hairstyle / Timelapse / 3D / Ornatrix

Hello everyone!
In this video I show the process of creating a medium length hairstyle for a male character. It's not a detailed tutorial, but I show the basics of how you can get a general shape, where of course you need to refine the details some more.

Hello Artem thank you for tutorial helps me with ornatrix i am using. Can you help me answer one question? After you texture the head in substance outlining the white and black area, how or what do you have to do in Maya so that the hair only grows or create guides only appear in the white area? removing hairs from the darker color areas? Thanks!

You have to add your texture map to the Distribution Multiplier slot like I did at 1:48

Привет, спасибо за видео. Вопрос: на 10:36 видно, что волосы с гайдов, идущих за ухо, интерполируют с волосами гайдов другой группы (более короткими). Как-то можно такую интерполяцию поправить локально, не трогая глобальных настроек в ноде HairFromGuides? Скажем, запретить интерполяцию между группами? Я не нашел, приходится в критичных случаях выносить вторую группу в отдельную систему волос, что не очень удобно.

желательно делать больше гайдов в таких местах, тогда результат будет более корректным. Можно в HairFromGuides попробовать поставить Parting вручную, тоже может помочь или использовать разные группы, а для них там же выставить Use Strand Group as Parts.

Absolutely jealous of your skills, Artem. I'm thinking to slowly shift into characters and was wondering if there is some specific difference between c4d ornatrix and maya ornatrix?

Не понятно для чего это нужно? Для урока, слишком не понятно. Для демонстрации своего уровня? Зачем такие мучения? Я весь канал просмотрел, ни одного полноценного урока. С прояснениями и объяснениями. Вот - да. Сделал бы нормальный человеческий урок, и дальше бы мелькал на здоровье, если нравится.
