I used to wonder how come someone would want to use this to create a snare but now its #1 on my list of things to do.

Excellent video! Concise and professional, this teaches you how to make a snare but also how you could go about other sound design by changing things slightly

Hello, thnx for the video. I have a problem, everyone seems to be getting the 5th LFO button automatically spawn at the LFO toolbar after the 4th LFO is linked, mine doesn't add the extra LFOs so it stays as 4 so i can't use 5 or more LFOs. Why is that?

Don't know, ask Serum support

You might have an older version of serum, or try reinstalling.

it's very hard to answer without hearing anything, but my first though was that it's either clipping or distorted too much. Maybe some frequencies are clashing

Sylenth1 type lead? What? 😂
@bledarndreu28952 жыл бұрын
If you have Ana 2, Zebra 2 and Serum you have everything you don't need to buy another synth anymore. Ana 2 has 3 main oscillators, 3 sample oscillators and arpeggiator, is great but doesn't have wavetable editor. Serum 2 and Zebra 2 have that wavetable editor that you don't have in Ana 2. You can make your own waveforms in this 2 synths and import them in Ana2. Zebra 2 has Wavetable editor 4 oscillators and arpeggiator it's a super synth. Serum doesn't have arpeggiator and has only 2 oscillators but still is one of the best. Both are very good maybe the best to create drums. I practice more in Ana 2 to create psytrance leads i love it. I learned to make wavetables in Serum and import them in Ana 2

The sine is what makes it sound like an 808 snare. Without it the snare would be just transient

Then add a bit more distortion, more mids, etc. Is just a matter of tweaking knobs
