I'm 38 years old and I've played music my whole life. Drums, guitar and piano. I recently got a mpkmini lab, audio interface, daw on my laptap. And I have an electronic drumset. This digital age of music is fascinating. I use to record to a dedicated recorder in a tascam dr40 with live instruments. The guitar plugins and drumless track play alongs with my edrums is mind blowing. Music just got much more interesting and fun for me.

Thanks man. This probably just opened up many new doors for my production. Im a hip hop artist/rapper but I just recently started producing beats. I'm working on building the same confidence into beat engineering as I have in writing music. The more ins and outs that I will learn, the more freely I will be able to express the sounds of my soul through the DAW and MIDI. Go with God 🙏
