I laminated a few leaves from a plant my daughter had grown - that was 8 years ago and it still looks exactly the same as the day I did it! I put it in my scrapbook and I can't believe how well it preserved after all this time. Loving the tape method as well!

Oh and I also like the fact that you can just peel the flower from the wax paper and its adhesive :)

Yes ... I like that too. Btw it's baking paper not wax paper. I don't think it works on wax paper. I could be wrong.

I have used the laminated method, but I have to say I like the packing tape method that you demonstrated as I think it gives a softer finish for journals. The book marks look great however for the laminated way

Yes I agree with you. Sometimes, I just leave it, if it's not too fragile.
