Today we are going to be looking at removing malware viruses from a computer with tech tool store, its a feature pack tool with loads of malware removal tool to download. So if your computer is infected and want to learn how to use this tool to remove virus from PC, then your in luck. Its not a short video and I try and cover as much as I can to show you a simple way in removing malware.

Ok when you select all the things in the list you want to run, after you click the update and scan button....after they update will the program be running a full scan or a quick scan?

Does those virus, malware, rootkit, Trojan back door infected on your virtual machine under windows OS can jump or infect a Linux OS, because i am thinking just to remove the Drive and put it in a under Machine that is running Linux OS and back up all the data needed then after the back up remove all the partition and filesystem of the infected Drive, Then re-install the Windows OS again

Thanks Brian :-D Looks like a handy menu of programs, most are known to me via your earlier teaching. It would have to be on a boot usb stick with live windows for me, i dont like using the o.s thats infected, no write protect on the usb stick :-( You ended with uvk, another favorite :-).

I know, right? He showed Hitman Pro that needed an activation...which, for free, was only for 30 days. I'm good for paying for the convenience of having all these tools in one place, but not for having to pay additional fees to each tool addon. A disclosure statement of which tools are included in the toolkit price and those that are only free for limited time or are crippled unless you pay a fee.

Hi Britech, My Norton Security flagged the tech tool store .exe file as a virus WS.Reputation.1. I just downloaded the file and Norton placed the .exe in quarantine. Is the file a virus? What do you think? Greg

this is so sad, i even payed for this document and still someone tried to hack me by trying to bypass my antivirus since this is a direct opening to ur documents (a trojan document) dont download it. i dont know whats going on but it seems like it blocked it out of my system. also unsure if this was this guy who did it but clearly someone has found a way to get into my pc via his document

Good video Brian. However, as a technician and business owner, like yourself, you know the number thing that's against us is time. Time is money right? While this kit - and others like it - are great for us, the main problem is that quite a few of the tools we would use have to be installed on the system. Some cannot be installed in safe-mode, some require a fare bit of interaction to setup and use. Also, this leaves us to having to uninstall all these programs after we complete the malware removal. Doing so leaves remnants behind that we have to yet again take additional time to remove, even if you use a program like Revo. While time does equal money, and you could simply pawn it off to labor hours - if you charge hourly, but many charge flat rates and the extra time needed would cut into the profit of said flat rate. Sure, we could just raise the price, but we shouldn't have to. Some of us are not greedy sods ya know? While I appreciate the time and effort put into these tool kits, they should be A. made to use only programs that do not need to be installed like portable versions, B. uninstall the programs automatically after you close them out and, C. actually have the programs within the directory due to the occurrence that there is no internet connectivity. Many don't realize that these tool kits don't actually come with the programs that are needed and would be useless if there is no internet, slow download speed, etc. I have resorted to building my own kit using PStart for times of no internet. This of course is the free way to do a kit, although you lose the luxury of auto running them. But if you have to reboot often, then that is a moot point.

malware removal is always a difficult job and needs to be charged accordingly, people charge to little to remove malware. I have seen it as low as $25 I mean really, how can you do a proper job for $25 crazy.

Also a PC Tech here, I use this CMD every few days, "reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Network\MSIServer" /ve /t reg_sz /d Service /f" Ya dont need to reboot but if it gives you an error then just run this "net start msiserver"

I have to disagree, wiping the system is not always a option and its what a lot of techs do because they can't remove malware, this just inconveniences the customer. You would have to redo programs, games, Photoshop, plugins, drivers, data backup, profile backup, settings, email, bookmarks the list goes on and on. Its OK if the customer is a light user, then wiping is quick and easy. But I do see where you coming from, malware removal is never easy at the best of times, people want a clean machine in 15 mins and this is not always possible. Wiping the computer is super easy and I almost feel bad charging the customer for a factory rest using recovery partition or recovery cd.

Britec09 I have to agree with Bri, Rarely do I have to OSRI. That is one of the last options I resort to. 99/100 times the malware can be removed, Most people/techs just do not have the proper knowledge of doing so. Sure MBAM is a great tool, It takes alot of crap off the system, But use DNS Unlocker for example (something ive been seeing alot of its ad related by hardcoding your DNS server to a spam one) Well mabm finds it and removes it yet it will not fix the issue, Ads. Even once removed you still have to use HJT to remove the O17's. With this being said, I'm not just your average PC Tech so I may know more than most. Also Bri, Love your channel, I love seeing all of these different tools, It's a great way to stay in the loop even if I will never use 9/10 of them.

Why not? Safe mode use minimum process of windows and most device drivers are not loaded so that can help to easily scan and remove infections without interference.

McAfee is a resource hog afaik. Try Scan Using Minimal Resources under Schedule Scans. You could also try adding Exclusions telling it not to scan the folder or file. I've no problems with avast!
