Hamilton! You should have been wearing your safety glasses while using the table saw or any other tool.

I don't think I've ever actually considered buying a push stick.

I'm not a fan of the stick type pushers; they are too easy to cantilever the workpiece into the blade. I know a lot of people like them, they just don't offer the kind of workpiece control I want at the tablesaw. I feel I have much more control using the push shoe type (the first one you used at the saw). If I start to feel binding, or if a cut becomes unsafe, I can safely hold the workpiece in place while I hit the saw's power button with my knee. On that, I highly recommend a knee-paddle switch add on to your saw! Could make a great cnc project video ;-) The bigger "fist" one you showed I'd never use; too big, clunky and cumbersome.

which type of push shoe do you like? i prefer the high-heel type pusher myself.

@@dronefootage2778 Kind of like the one drew Fischer made, just not as fancy. And I don't like closed handles.

Odd, I do believe I've seen slo-mo footage of kickback somewhere else.... hmm, wonder where that was eye Kant Member where that was :)

these push sticks are not good enough for my saw, maybe you can make a gold plated one, because that i would buy.

Speak for yourself. A tongue-in-cheek phrase or image is imperative on shop made tooling.
