Quick comment here: this is not a dream catcher. Even if it looks like one, no matter who makes it, unless it has gone through the proper ceremony, it is not a dream catcher. It is simply a wall hanging.

What is the difference between a dream catcher and a wall hanger? I can"t wait to make this wall hanger, I love it.

Thank you so much for teaching us seniors the techniques that we need to make all of the amazing crafts that you do. You are highly blessed and favored by the Lord for He has given you so many gifts to share and you are so loving to share them. You also have a gift of patience that is needed today in this world. Love you sweetheart

If you add a lilbit of glue to your rope it keeps it from fraying so u can add your beads easy. Thought I would share. It works great. Your awesome😄. I love you sense of humour and your so easy to watch! Keep up the great work.

This is an AWESOME wreath!! Actually, after watching many wreath making videos, this is the very best & my favorite. It is different, imaginative in design & can represent any family. This can be used as a year round decoration!! 😊 THANK YOU for sharing this!! Definitely I'm going to try it!

L❤VE IT❣ Out of the ones I've seen, I'm loving yours the best. And I love how you added the feathers 👍This Southern girl has some Cherokee blood on my Dad's side. So the feathers make me think of him (who passed in 2012) and our Native American roots ❤ I've had dream catcher's most of my life, and gave away many dream catchers. And I never knew they have to go through a ceremony to actually be a dream catcher🤔 So I thank you for sharing that. Most of mine come from a Native American school I donate to. But still, I doubt they have gone through that. Thank you for such a well explained video so even us new crafters can follow 🥰👍

I was so stressed making this project. I hope I did you justice. I will send a picture when it’s done, but it’s one of the favorite things I’ve seen on KZbin in a very, very long time. I love the tree of life. They’re all over my house never thought about making a wreath out of them now it’s beautiful.

Have made several as gifts thanks to you But now I am going to make me one and step it up with the feathers. My mom was always proud of the tiny bit of her Indian heritage. Thanks for showing this addition.

I love it’s beautiful. A lot of us have Cherokee blood in our families. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. A beautiful lady. So this brought back alot of wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing I so enjoyed it. 🥰
@ThisSouthernGirlCan2 жыл бұрын
And it can be a pain to get a CN number nowadays. I think so many people have tried to claim Cherokee, by marginal fractions, and it has made it difficult for a lot of us. Mine was easier because my family was on the Dawes Rolls, but even then, it took tons of documentation.

I really like her tree of life style. I had been looking for one to make. It’s nice to know about your heritage. My Mother was Cherokee. Her Family came off a Reservation unfortunately they were not proud of their Indian blood so that wasn’t talked about too much. My Dad had some Comanche. I’ve always been proud of it of my Ancestry.

That is beautiful!!!! The Dollar Trees near me rarely carry rope anymore. So an alternative I've been looking into is Lowe's or Home Depot 100% cotton twine. I got one of the anchor wreaths from Dollar Tree and wanted to glue shells and wrap it in twine but they had nothing.
