Bonne vidéo comme d'hab ! For anyone who is trying to improve their French reading & listening level - turn on the ENGLISH SUBTITLES. As the story is read out loud, compare the French writing to the English subtitles. This means you are essentially helping your brain understand the beginner French with your fluent English. 2x the LEARNING. 2x the help when you have trouble understanding what the story is saying. I know that building up a good reading & listening level is difficult. My students often have problems understanding spoken French. The best thing I help them with is having them slow down a video like this one here, and reading the French subtitle sentence 1 by 1, listening to each word as they are pronounced. I know that listening to French without subtitles is difficult because when you miss even just 1 word, then the whole sentence doesn't make sense to you. Instead of getting frustrated and thinking the French level is too hard for you, simply turn on English subtitles and use the English subtitles to help you understand each sentence, 1 by 1.
