It's just a simulation, no interaction with the aircraft that I know of.

Man this is just way too complicated. All I want is a zibo style cabin announcement system that works from the press of a switch with real voices. The fake voice overs are tough to listen and takes away the immersion.

Just re-installed it and will give it a try, however, Matt the DEV at FSFO is currently working on v5 which also incorporates many of these options but also gives you a fully working co-pilot and RAAS, all in the same package.

@@gilliesstuart I hope so! I think P2A is going to be difficult to integrate. GSX and FS2Crew must be possible, with all the settings in SLC. Can't yet find any Push to Talk option in SLC. That's making things difficult with Voice Control.

@@jip5873 i just done it. Pretty much the same as it was with slic 1.5. You just need to desactivate the pushback crew so it doesnt interfere with gsx. Same for fs2crew. I just disabled flight attendant. The 1.6 content is REALLY complete.

@@jip5873 only thing is that you pretty much need to rebuild your tts files as there are may more new folders. Creating the perfect sound pack for your company will take a lot of times but i cant see how it could be more complete. All the customization possible is there.

The update though overdue has upgraded SLC significantly. Quite liking the development and looking forward to upcoming things on the Roadmap. It does have capabilities for additional packs etc. Keep pressing on Steve!!!

Your EFB was showing no pax loaded. Looks like SLC doesnt actually load pax, just provides sound effects.

That is correct. It is a sound package, like GSX is a visual package.

I was very excited to hear that finally the product has received an update after so long, but after watching your video and what the update brings I am quite disappointed. It looks pretty clunky to use and my concern is how practical it's going to be to use without GSX synchronisation, which for me was a priority for the update, plus navigating it whilst on the VATSIM network.

right-click the microphone icon to put into "Push to Talk" mode, then you can use the left CTRL key (hold it down) to speak to SLC without it listening all the time.

I'm so sorry as I have a question that is not related to your video. I can't think of anyone else I can ask. I play on Xbox Series S and have just started to learn the cold and dark startup of the default 747/8. Firstly, when I power up the aircraft, the screen with the flight route (plan), shows the magenta path until you change the view to 'map'. This shows a blank screen with 'tcas off' displayed in orange. I don't know if that is why the route is not displaying, as I can't find where to turn it back on. What am I doing wrong? Now could give a new try. But my question: what will be with all my old soundfiles which I maked for the previous version ? You said, I must delete all before installing 1.6. Saldly the file structure has changed significantly so old sound packs will not work. You can manually move the pre recorded sounds however into the relevant new folders.

Hello Brother, a real question. My SLC doesnt recognize Easyjet Soundpack Safety Announcements. It plays Cabin Sounds from the folder but during pushback SLC 1.5 used to play automatically safety announcements. But now nothing. Do u know the solution to it?

Folder names have changed so ensure these are correct for latest SLC by checking the default folder names. Also ensure option for safety notice is turned on in settings.

I installed it and... it doesn't work! When I press the "START FLIGHT" button nothing happens... :/ The application closes immediately! UPDATE!!! Support: If your Self-Loading Cargo application crashes when starting a flight, it is most likely related to voice recognition. I will be releasing a patch shortly to fix a crash that may occur on certain machines when starting a flight if Windows Speech Recognition is not installed. Unfortunately the error is not being handled correctly on non-English devices - apologies for that. How To Fix? To fix it in the meantime, please make sure Windows Speech Recognition (US) is installed on your device. Open the Start menu on your Windows device and select Settings > Time & Language. Choose Language or Language & region > Add a language. Search for a language in the search bar or choose one from the list.

i had issues with fsuipc, i think it was the cause for my stutters on landing, uninstalled it some time ago and the problem went away with the program!

The only problem I had with SLC is that it doesn't allow you to add your own flight announcement audio files, I never really like the scripted sounding voices... it never sounded authentic.

does anybody know on the fbw a32nx what settings should I use for the transponder before and after take off? I always get dinged badly. Have tried setting it to abv and ta/ra and the top knob goes to auto. Or I'll switch it to on up top then just ta. Or I'll do both on standby. Nothing works and I get mad points taken away for sure.

Took too long for me for an update. Nice that it is more in-depth but the voices do sound too robotic. What I really enjoyed were the various sound packs from different airlines that used to be available with authentic crew calls and cabin music. However I’m guessing there were copyright issues since I haven’t seen any new available ones for a long time. Unfortunately SLC lost me. I wouldn’t want to bog my system down with this anymore. Like another commenter said a light weight Zibo style cabin announcement system would suit my needs. Too much, too late.

Hello!!! I have a problem, I have followed all the steps on the SLC page, I enter my email and activation code, then I enter my Simbrief ID, so far so good. I go through all the steps until the start flight button appears, as soon as I press it, the SLC button disappears and the program stops working. If someone can help me please. Thank you very much.
