I have just started assembling my 4.5m X 3.0m Easy shed. I have had to return the gable ends, whoever cut these ends on the machine was asleep on the job. One side was 2090 instead of 2100 and the other side was 2110 instead of 2100. Apart from the longer and shorter ends, the in between sheets on the ends where also much longer. Completed assembling the roof, I have preferred to use silicon in addition to the screws, NO Way am I going to place screws in the roof section like described on the plans. Many of my sheets are torn at the corners and bent. Lets see how this shed turns out.

I'd wish I have watched your video before the purchase. Totally agree with your comments. The shed quality is no problem but the design of assembly can be better. Playing aroung with those self-drilling screws with no pre-drill holes are very frustrating.

As my sheds are a permanent fixture, I simply used high grade glazing silicon and glued the bottom channel to the concrete, never, ever moves, same with the roof, use silicon to the wall edge. You are correct, too many fkn screws, much better just using silicon.

Been doing the 5x3 shed, it's now, Blown out to three half days )17 hours and now needing a fourth. Biggest problem I find with the assembly is the poor material quality. I'm piloting all the holes because the steel gauge is so thin it bends away, no matter how gently I press on it. The metal often tears when I pull out the drill bit. The roof has been a nightmare, The half roof panels droop about every 600mm, making it impossible to slide into it's slot. will finish this comment when I finish the shed.....

@@lukesmith112 Your right about the doors, they were a huge pain to fit. We are still married so I guess that's a pretty good indicator. We have had some extremely windy days and the shed didn't even flex a mm so I am very pleased with that. We put ours on a concrete water tank so could not build up the level inside so water proofing the shed took many goes, but that is not the manufacturers fault. All said and done now that it is up I am happy we purchased it. Hope this helps, cheers and good luck with your shed.

@@bobtailsquid *"it’s been sitting in the boxes in their backyard for three years"* Sadly, you might need a new shed. If you managed to keep the shed dry, you might be able to save it. If the boxes got wet, it will be corroded. I had one in storage during covid....It was only for 9months, and all the sheets corroded due to moisture getting in between the sheets. Bluescope Steel says that you cannot store Zincalume sheets without them being separated with airflow between each sheet. You might be lucky, but I wasn't. I'm not a shed installer, but I did one for a friend over covid, and then it had a flow on effect, everybody kept on asking me to do their shed. I put mine away, I even put a tarp over it and inside another shed so it wouldn't get wet. After 9months, I've finally found the time to do my own and it was destroyed. That was New Generation Zincalume, I'm not sure if colorbond is better in storage or not. You have probably installed your shed by now, and if so, I would be interested to know what condition it was when you unpacked it?

Same. I had to silicone outside and inside completely at the base, but that’s because it’s supposed to be installed on a stepped slab or similar, so that the shed base perimeter is a bit lower than the inside. I didn’t know the inside dimensions though when we poured the slab, so we made it flat, not stepped. I’ve just bought a 6 x 3 x 2.4 shed, and I’ve made the floor stepped this time, constructed out of 200 x 50 treated pine, about 40 x 3 mtr lengths in total. With screws it worked out costing me about 1,000 dollars which is about 600 dollars cheaper than my 3 x 3 concrete base. Thanks for your video.
