Professional made cousin? Not top charged, batteries were anywhere from 3.1v to 3.6v, made from a plastic tube softened and glued together, A BMS that will not allow a charge over 13v where a 12v charger charges at over 14v.

I did the same and spot welder fried BMS and a cell blew up due to shorcircuit. Tip: don't use spot welder for BMS. Use a regular tin welder.

I think the first LED did have the 1 and I think the second LED had a 0 which would account for the 1st string being 3.43v 2nd string 6.94 and final string 10.2 volts. He obviously didn’t top charge the batteries as shown when doing the individual charge reading. The only way you could use this module would be if you used a buck converter to lower down to something like a 6v or 9 v device. But your right, mostly useless but i think he has all his useless cousins comment how good his video are. Hopefully he never gets monetized for this crap.

Hi there I built the battery I used 21700 4 amp cells 24 cells 3s8p 12 volt 32 amps and no bms I used the hubby balance charger however it will balance charge to 12.5 volt after 3 attempts ( time out )The webasto heater stopped due to low voltage @11.5 volts Leave me 1 volt. Can this battery be charged more and we're can I get a suitable charger Volts and time out are preset on my balance charger

First of all you are watching am amateur. Part of the problem you might be having is you notice the charge status of his batteries were from 3.1 to 3.6v. They will never have a total charge of 4.2 on all of them because they were not all the same voltage. You could also see on the string voltages they did not add up to the same for each string. 3.4, 3.5, 3.3 the last positive string at 10.2v where the nominal charge is 3.6 x 3=10.8v, thats not even the charge voltage. I do not know much about balancers but what I’ve seen some is some balance chargers work only when they get to a certain voltage and if your batteries are not top charged then as soon as one battery gets charged it shuts off charging and some balancer needs a higher current to do a final balance and if its shut down it won’t balance because current not high enough. Try to find some video’s on balancers and note that balancers are rated at low currencies and some at higher currencies. Best to have a blue tooth connection so you can better see what its doing or not doing. Just curious but what heater runs on less than 400 watts?

Use a 3.2v instead of 3.6v and do 4 in series instead of 3 for a 12.8 battery,

You made a 10v battery not a 12v. You don’t use the charge voltage as that quickly drops off. I do hope your not selling these, but if your wearing sandals right now then that explains it since you do not know what your doing! A 12v needs to be made with four 3.2v batteries.
