I think it was changed to "Configure all Gradle tasks during Gradle Sync (this can make Gradle Sync slower)" You have to check it instead.

I found a solution. In new versions of Android Studio, you need to enable "Configure all Gradle tasks during Gradle Sync (this can make Gradle Sync slower)" in the Gradle experimental settings, and then go to "File" -> Sync Project with Gradle Files

i fixed this issue after researching for 2 hours, it is very simple , we will get this error otp verification failed if we use in emulator , solution is this that use the Real phone having sim card than it will work and code is simply fine

i fixed this issue after researching for 2 hours, it is very simple , we will get this error otp verification failed if we use in emulator , solution is this that use the phone having sim card than it will work and code is simply fine

@CNcodes try changing the firebase plan to the free trial premium one, then it will tell you to set up a goggle cloud account, in the cloud search for play api and enable it that method worked for me and now the otp sent to my phone number, but since it's a trial i think i'll stick with the testing dummy method where you just need to manually input the otp in the firebase instead of using the sms one

What number I have added manually in the firebase , it works for them. But if I inut new number then after entering otp screen it directly show "OTP verification failed"

If you have done that then delete it from there and now try to get the otp, you will surely get it.
