As someone who was diagnosed with PCOS last year, definitely invest into your health and diet by researching what works for you. I am on the pill, and it gave me more energy, but some of my symptoms persisted until I got my diet under control. Lost 20 lbs and had some other issues resolve at the same time!! This video is fantastic

New sub! Your info is rock solid. I have PMDD and am so excited to feel better. Your advice lines up beautifully with what my ND had me start a few weeks ago. Question: How long did you need to stay on this protocol before you noticed pms was gone? Im guessing not too long bc I only had 1 depression day this time (yesterday).

Really helpful! Thank you so much :) I appreciate a lot of your food suggestions being plants too (especially broccoli!). Going to try to optimise diet & exercise with hormonal fluctuations. Hopefully PCOS won't hamper things too much! Thanks again; great content! Xxx

Omg I am so nervous about this and I was just wondering are pineapples good for menstrual cycles? Because I love them and I find your voice very calming.
@CycleCoachAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Pineapples are cooling foods and can support you in the ovulatory phase, when your body temp is highest. Hope this helps!

Ladies! On a serious note you should try Hatha yoga (or similar exercise system) which will exercise the entire pelvic floor muscles and help in reducing cramps. The reason why so many women get bad cramps could just be weak pelvic floor muscles! Most modern age women do not give birth until much later in life which means that we do not use our pelvic floor muscles at all most of the time. The weak pelvic muscles are unable to handle period muscle contractions. Also , I recently found out , no joke, try sitting on floor instead of couch! It has a whole science behind! 😊

I was wondering why I have had tenderness as well all the time even off my cycle and acne around my chin area at times through out the month and mind you I am 45 now and have never had acne not even in my teen years so this is new to me also I also question how my flow is being affected since I have had a tubal ligation many years ago if this the reason why my periods are off now that I am older
@CycleCoachAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Adult acne can be caused from the hormonal shifts you experience in our 40s. This could be a sign of peri-menopause. Have you had you hormones tested?

I really need help with what to eat for my period. I have been suffering from very painful periods since February of this 2020 year. I had an ectopic pregnancy fallopian tube removal surgery, and ever since that day. PMSing is horrible. 😩😢

I’m so sorry to hear that, I can only imagine the crazy fluctuations in your hormones and getting them to stabilize. Sending you love 💕

What to eat in order to keep the progesterone high continuously
@CycleCoachAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Foods to support progesterone and your luteal phase: legumes, almonds, kelp, salmon, mackeral, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. Just a short list, but these foods have nutrients that support the rise of progesterone. Other lifestyle tips to raise progesterone: meditation, get rid of inflammatory foods (gluten, dairy, soy, wheat and corn) and aerobic low intensity exercise. Hope this helps.

Do not recommend fish. Some people cannot eat fish
@LoWithoutLimits4 жыл бұрын
I try to make my videos relevant to everybody who may watch and if I removed foods that someone can’t eat or is allergic to then the list of possible options becomes quite small. If you cannot eat fish, then ignore that part and incorporate the options that you can eat! For those who can eat fish, it’s a great source of proteins and healthy fats but I understand that it’s not for everybody :)
