Could you say that the numbers 30 and 40 represent milestones for her in terms of her weight? e.g when she hits 40 stone.

Because the relationship between the narrator and the feeder appears to be feederism orientated, it seems likely that 30 and 40 are in fact weight milestones rather than her age. "Soon you'll be forty..." would be a seemingly irrelevant statement for the feeder to make if it wasn't, in fact, a reference to her weight rather than her age.

Each stanza has 3 lines. The structure of the poem can be seen as prison bars that she can not escape.
