Those tiny dried fish (sprats) that Rocky tried is a famous dish made in my country.. it’s called halmasso baduma, we fry them with onions, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and spices.. so good!!

I'm asian, in my country that called "semur telur" its eggs dip in soy sauce or sweet soy sauce, sometimes we add tofu with it.. Delicious if combine with rice... 😁😁

Egg with a little soy sauce is actually good when you pair it with chicken broth on sticky rice porridge with ginger and garlic and squeeze some calamansi (citrus) with a dash of ground pepper and salt. As for The dried fish it must be crispy and dip it on vinger with spices and eat with rice

The third food is called "buwad" here in the Philippines particularly in Visayas. That's very delicious,you have to fry it first. It's not supposed to eat that way.😂

Correct me if i m wrong but that looks like 1. Fermented egg 2. Octopus 3. Dried Anchovies 4. Wasabi Well except octopus(bcoz only find in japanesse rest and expensive) and fermented egg(bcoz its very time consuming to make our own) the rest i always eat. But of course we didnt eat raw dried. Anchovies . We clean it pounced it stir it in hot oil n oth spices to make fried rice and anchovies is deliciious to make umami taste soup n wasabi is good to eat with sushi n soy sauce

love your channel.. but FYI.. I'm korean american and a frequent shopper at HMART.. I recognized and love all the food that your family was challenged to eat.. please keep in mind.. something that might "smell like, look like, and taste like crap" can be offensive to another culture I was a bit offended ( especially the soy sauce egg ( brown egg) it's one of my favorite thing. Because this is not a common dish here in the USA and it seems foreign doesn't mean that it is automatically disgusting.
