WOW!!! I LOVE Bachelor Buttons. I kept buying the seeds, hoping to plant them. Because you very rarely see Blue flowers. I also want them to naturalize in my garden. I finally planted some last year. I also planted some this year 2022. They germinated really fast and I just LOVE them so much. I had no idea they had all these uses. Thank you so much!

Great video! I am hoping to harvest some bachelor buttons for drying to use in tea blends. Do you have any tips for how to do it? Thank you!

What’s the best way to dehydrate them? Should I take the petals off the green part of the blossoms or can I just dry them as is? Thanks

I’ve grown some at home this year and I am planning to infuse some into some gin, would you recommend using the whole flower or just the petals? And should I dry them first?
@FarmhouseTeas2 жыл бұрын
The whole flower would be great

Can you make this into a tincture? And if so how would you do that? Thank you for your video.
@FarmhouseTeas2 жыл бұрын
Yes you could but it would be better served as a tea.

How do you make bachelor button tea? How many blossoms do you use to make the tea for UTIs?

Do they come back every year do they take over your garden
@FarmhouseTeas4 жыл бұрын
They will come back if they are allowed to go to seed. We usually pull them up and the chickens deal with most of the seed. I haven't had any issues with this method.
