Lol Punk never died, plenty of bands in the 80's went Hardcore and Racist like Toxin III, Adverts, Cockney Rejects, 1977, Blitz Babies, Wipers, X, WW 14 + many more, the 90's was more kinda the same while the 00's went more Alt Rock and D-Beat, 2010's is the whole Crust, Grindcore, Goregrind and Po*nogrind scenes which are all linked to Punk. Look towards Russia, Eastern Europe, Sweden, Asia and the underground for current punk bands.

@@petercrowley41 Walter Lure mentions them in his book. They were one of the Heartbreakers preferred UK opening acts along with the Models and the Banshees. Back then the yanks had better takeaways and other things that appeal to bored teenagers like comics and tv channels. Trash culture I guess you,d call it. Eater being kids.
