Splendid🫡 being a filipino is bringing the family together during meals. And seeing you all enjoying the food is so heartwarming❤ by the way, most of Filipino foods basically prepared by sauteing garlic, onions and meat (or any seafood like shrimp) in oil. Others might find it oily but it purposely brings out the flavors like fusion😋 anway, if you want to cook any filipino foods, your way and how its done, you can search all of these recipes in youtube.😊 so Goodluck.🫡 "The family that eats together, stays together" as we say it❤❤❤

@@hellophilippines513 I haven't because when I got here at age 11, I was focused on to graduating school because I wanted to be a Nurse. At age 22 I graduated RN( Registered Nurse) and now I am 25 pretty much I have been a RN for 3 years. It's busy life and I didn't have time to come home and visit. It was worthy though because at 25 now I have my own home fully paid. One day I'll visit Philippines for sure to settle down there.

Hello mommy won. If you like to make lumpia or spring roll you can do it. There are lots of cooking tutorial in youtube already. Aside from lumpia you can also make cheesesticks in lumpia wrappers for snacks. Its just easy..😊 just put cheese, sliced like french fries size and roll. If you want you can also put hotdog together with cheese sliced in 4 parts and then cook. 😊🥰

Recipe for stir fried eggplant Ingredients 3 medium eggplants roughly cubed 1/4 Cup Oil divided, or as needed 2 cloves Garlic peeled, minced 1 medium red onion peeled, thinly sliced 2 medium native tomatoes cored, sliced into wedges Salt to taste ground black pepper to taste 1 small pack oyster sauce from sarisari store Sesame oil and seeds - optional Instructions In a large bowl, place chopped eggplant pieces. Sprinkle eggplants with salt, tossing regularly to ensure the cut sides are seasoned with salt. Set aside for 10 minutes. Drain any liquid from the bowl. Blot off excess moisture from the eggplants. Preheat about 2 tablespoons oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Place eggplants, cut side down, in the hot oil in a single layer, and sear until browned. Flip and cook the other side. Remove from heat and transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining eggplants. In the remaining oil in the wok, add garlic, onions, and tomatoes, sauteing after each addition. Add oyster sauce. Return eggplants to the wok and drizzle in sesame oil. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Add sesame seeds and toss to coat. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Filipino food has a lot of STEWED food. It's normally the STREETFOOD that's always FRIED but the typical Filipino food is like that in the Karinderya. Filipino food also has a lot of VEGETARIAN DISHES, the problem is that it's not that popular in fastfoods and other restaurant but you'll find plenty of it in Karinderya Basically, a lot of Filipino veggie dish are SAUTEED or in Tagalog we call them GINISA. Also, if you like food with Coconut Milk then start looking at the Bicolano dishes, they're very popular and they're called GINATAAN and there's a wide range of food here from MEAT to VEGGIES but I like the veggies more like the Ginataang Papaya, Ginataang Langka, G. Kalabasa, etc. haha
