Abdul Aziz its not. It does have a particular taste which is hard to describe. It have a unique aftertaste. Anyway, its just a different way to eat an egg. Like if you go to Philippine, theres a balut. Or if you go Malaysia or Indonesia theres a salted egg. Its not always just boiled and fried egg :D

@@oneangryboi408 I'm sardinian and I've seen that cheese around the house. I don't like it because the larvae makes me squeamish but not once have I seen a family member get ill from it. I doubt it's dangerous or as serious as you're making it out to be. You're not eating the fly larvae, you're supposed to spread on bread. The larvae becomes one with the cheese and stops moving. So I really doubt that it's serious.

I doubt the maggots pose much of a risk if they have been fed clean food. Flies and maggots are only dirty because of what they eat and land on. If kept in clean conditions they're probably as dangerous as chicken for example, always a risk but a well mitigated one.
