Thanks so much for this review and all your reviews. I love that you go to restaurants and areas that many other KZbinrs ignore. Thanks too for showing the entertainment. Pete Jarvis is there several times a week and a friend originally from upstate NY where I live. I was so excited to see him there when you were visiting.

That's where I ate when I visited Key West a year or so ago. Loved jumping on the trolley and seeing the sights. Key West has its own vibe...while I was there I was interested in speaking with the locals...I found them at the laundromat and adult bookstore.🤭😄 Happy New Year!!! Pamela Frisbee

Love Sloppy Joes! You need to go to the one in Orlando. Daytona Beach closed down-so disappointed. We went to it more than any of the others.

Since you two drive around so much, do you have any tips or advice on that? I want to visit Key West but I don't actually like driving over water that much. I can handle causeways if the traffic isn't too fast, but I can't drive over high bridges. How is the causeway into Key West? I guess I should see if there are shuttles that drive people to Key West.

Hello! Thanks for the question. You definitely drive over a lot of water but for the most part, it feels like you are driving through a beach town, most of the way. The traffic ain’t too fast and it’s pretty much a straight stretch. There aren’t too many high bridges which is nice, it’s mostly flat. We think everyone should visit it but do whatever makes you feel comfortable. There is an airport there where people fly in. Hope this helps!

The funniest reason why he decided to move sloppy joes to its current location is because the landlord wanted to raise the rent by $1. I got sloppy (but funny i was told) drunk in sloppy joes once during a duval crawl😂

When I first visited KW in 1986, a hotel I stayed at was $88 a night. Adjusted for inflation that's about $252. That same hotel during low season now goes for, on average, about $500 a night. Not sure if it's still the case, but locals used to get issued a card and they got discounted prices. Even at that time, a lot of people that worked in the tourist service industry either had a ton of roommates or they lived farther up the keys and had a few less roommates. Not that it still isn't kind of a neat place in its own way, but it's changed way too much for my liking.
