If you want to get started with fish eating, you can start with POMFRET which has literally no bones other than the body itself, like goan pomfret curry, just amazing and also try mutton shammi kebab. For Delhi trip, go to Delhi - 6. You will get everything.

Tip: Don't eat fish by mixing with rice or poori, Try eating fish first & then eat rice or poori with curry that's left

Actually we have a lot of fishes in Bengali dishes. Some fishes have lots o kaata and some don't. And also for bigger fishes, side matters, some side have kaata or some don't. Next time you should try Bowal machh. It doesn't have kaata. And your pronouncing is so good but it's actually ROSOGOLLA. Not ROSOGOLA.

Macher jhol tastes best with normal rice not with luchi. We Bengalis normally eat fish with rice in daily basis. Next time try with rice & try different fish like pomfret (lesser bone).
