I always think its disappointing when influencers "make products" that were clearly decisions made by their teams and end up subsequently endorsing products that are ass. Sometimes I can't even blame them because its clear their team was just like "btw you have a cereal now"

I think that’s a great argument to skirt responsibility away from them and onto other people. It is their responsibility to ensure they support what they are putting their names on and endorsing. Furthermore to not lie so greatly about how hard they’ve been working on it, if your theory is true. Viewers deserve a level of reliability and honesty when being asked to purchase something to support a creator they enjoy
