I think it’s wild that the buffet isn’t included in the hotel room price. Especially since the food was so mediocre and a small selection.

I think especially at casino's, they absolutely should include their buffet with the room price. I would think business-wise it would make sense; people would be more likely to stay and gamble there if they had a (free) meal. Some places give away free breakfast to get people out of their rooms earlier (lots of chain hotels ).

Business-wise it makes sense not to charge additional fees? No. No hotel is losing out on bookings because they don’t offer free food. We all know the food is mediocre, so if they have it, they it, if they don’t, they don’t. People care more about parking fees than they do about the food.

Timmy! I just stayed in the Rosen Shingle Creek bc I used the mystery deal on Hotwire for the room. It’s 4.5 stars, was only $94 and it was AMAZING. They have like 12 restaurants. I thought about how you could make great content with all the restaurant options (and also how you wouldn’t like the tub shower 😂). You should do a mystery Hotwire video. You won’t know the hotel, but you can pick the star level. You can get a 4 or 5 star for a very good deal. *btw Rosen Shingle Creek didn’t charge a resort fee, but did charge for parking so that can be an added expense
