The newly renovated Balestier Shaw! It took about 3 years to complete due to the pandemic. But I’m glad it’s open! Everything looks bright and modern. They recently added Hans to the slew of eateries. I think you were at L2 to be exact. Still amazed at how you can down those food in 60 mins. I had a set Koo Kee noodles and I’m done. Haha!

Wow! So much more food choices at Shaw Plaza! Used to go there when all other cinemas are full or nt showing the movies we want to watch! Not much here before but now lots of choices interms of f&b choices and I'm sure everything else. Should be great old new destination to revisit!

Shaw plaza! I just visited a couple of days ago, dined at inochi and the food was amazing... the mall is really new and have tons of dining options..so hope to be able to get the free movie tickets so i can visit Shaw Plaza again!

Shaw Plaza! Zermatt speaks proper English with an endearing Singapore accent. He is a good representative son of Singapore. Not to mention that he is effectively bilingual and has perfect mannerism. I always eat what he eats. The current being fish and chips after his mukbang! Will try Black and White’s next.

It is called Singish, a unique version of English. Singaporeans are Multi-languish and can speak many languages all in one. Accent? Proper or not proper? it all depends on the person they interact with. They change the language and tone naturally. Of course, not the same English with a UK, US accent, or Australian accent. However, quite easy to communicate with them but not necessary to understand in the first place. Well, interesting! 😉 Own style and version! Way to go! ~~~

Oh yes, i love koo kee, theres one outlet at sunset way, their yong tau fu is my family's favourite, the beancurd is my favourite. Must eat the mee kia version for yong tau fu, the bee hoon too soft imo. Come to sunset way plsss :)
