The food looked incredible but for hundreds of dollars per meal I would want to relax and savour it. Eating against a stopwatch would kill the experience for me.

At 4:51 the menu states 2 hours. They must have changed the policy without updating the menu. That being said, when I go to buffets I get pretty full within 45 minutes. If you concentrate on the expensive seafood and meats and skip the relatively inexpensive items such as bread, pancakes, waffles, salads, and pasta, 90 minutes should be enough to sample essentially all the premium items.

Nice to vicariously experience that buffet, Mikey. BTW, the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay faces the Pacific Ocean, not the Bay. If you're ever there at Sunset during the Summer, a bagpiper plays out the sun while you sit around a fire pit. Awesomely beautiful.

ive been to the ritz there a handful of times, as i live 35 minutes away from there. the service that we got in the casual restaurant was not really impressive at all. we stick to the outside patio for seafood and cocktails. if youre ever there at dusk, they have a bagpiper play. thats pretty cool.
