I've tried this. And it is by far the worst "food" I have tasted. I have also tried swedish 'surströmming' (fermented herring), but the herring got nothing on the shark. The Icelanders don't actually urinate on the shark. It's the sharks themselves that urinate through their skin :)

Shark isn't illegal in EU? What?

@@DanDownunda8888 it's illegal in large parts of Asia. There used to be lots of sharkfin soup restaurants until movements against shark hunt pushed government to illegalize shark-specialized meals/cuisines. Fishermen are allowed to bring in/sell shark they caught, but they're not allowed to only hunt sharks.
