Its funny! I thought the same thing until I went on a cruise. After the second day the food became less and less appealing and I always thought of myself as a big eater. Non stop food on tap and no real exercise unless you go to the gym every day plays havoc with your body
@dungeonmaster163 жыл бұрын
@@geraldwalker6101 agree. most ppl that go on a cruise regardless if mid to high income is mainly get away from everyday life routine. basically work, living in city, etc. cruise ship you either eat, relax at spa or pool, or just work out 4-7 days or even just be out at sea and think to yourself.

The Philippines and the Caribbean provide a large number of crew to most ships because they're great places to find able people with great language skills who are willing to go for the better salary than what they'd get back home most of the time.

I love Baileys over ice, great on a summer evening outside. I would say, being British, that the afternoon tea looked very nice, but the sandwiches were missing. We typically have little triangle sandwiches with fillings like egg mayonnaise, ham and mustard, cucumber, and so on. :) And instead of milk, Earl Grey tea can be drunk with a slice of lemon. Edited as my daughter has just said that she likes the look of the baked salmon fillet.

The employees of this cruise ship need recognition. They work hard with their family away from them and thinking of them. Working in order to give their kids a better life. Great video once again! ..... Interesting story... I once met a crew member of a ship and their staff was all intl. They told me they are worked to the bone and have hardly any fun time bc you're so tired you choose to sleep vs explore a town the few hours they get. It's not abuse per se but they are worked insane hours they said. Everyone working is coming from worse conditions at home.

Re the Scones: I see you adding jam and cream to the outside of the scone. They're usually 'forked' in half (by piercing from the sides with a fork), before adding jam and/or cream to your liking. A knife is generally frowned upon for cutting a scone, as it is seen to damage the crumb structure of the scone. Those ones look small and layered enough that you could probably just use your fingers to break them in half first.
