I'm proud of them both. The rice and fish looked very dry. I'm impressed the older brother didn't drink until the end. It may have had flavor however, it would have been nice if they had a soup or sauce to wet it a little. 👏💙

The rice isn't dry. If you notice there is even some oil residue on the plates when they are done. Jollof rice is cooked in a tomato-based stew so extra stew is just extra calories. I think it's the lighting playing tricks.
